In honor of Squire & Company's 50th anniversary, the foundation from which Squire Tech was established, we are excited to share an enlightening article originally featured in Squire’s 50th anniversary magazine. This article explores the robust partnership between Squire and Microsoft Dynamics, highlighting our unwavering commitment to personal connection, proactive ownership, and thoughtful innovation.

Squire’s core values – personal connection, proactive ownership, and thoughtful innovation – are not just words on a wall but the guiding principles that shape every interaction with employees and clients alike. These values form the bedrock of Squire's approach, a foundation that has been solidifying over the past 20 years. Among the key tools in their arsenal is Microsoft Dynamics, a go-to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system chosen for its innovative capabilities.

In the realm of business software solutions, QuickBooks has long been a favorite among smaller businesses, while NetSuite has catered to the needs of larger, rapidly-scaling enterprises. Recognizing a gap in the market, Squire sought a tool that could effectively serve their small to medium-sized clients, offering the automation and accounting management capabilities required.

About seven years ago, rather than settling for an off-the-shelf solution, Squire chose to take proactive ownership of their software choices. They participated in Microsoft's test-pilot research group for the launch of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This decision reflected their commitment to finding the right tool for their clients, one that would seamlessly transition them from basic accounting software to a comprehensive system integrating finances, operations, sales, and more – all within a single, cloud-based platform.

Since its 2018 release, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central has streamlined everything from accounting to inventory management, manufacturing production, customer relationship management, and sales tracking. Small to medium-sized businesses also benefit from a lower ‘barrier to entry’ regarding cost.

Squire understands there isn’t just one ERP system that works best for everyone. When onboarding a new client, they prioritize building personal connections over making a sale. After listening to a client’s needs, they present a proposal that breaks down the cost and features of each system they offer, providing full transparency. Whether a client chooses QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics, Squire continues to demonstrate their commitment to providing valuable solutions that meet the diverse needs of its customers as its business evolves - continually proving that Squire’s top three values drive these decisions.
